Audition Information
When are the auditions?
​
Auditions for P6 pupils will be the week beginning the 20th November and for P7 pupils will be the week beginning the 27th November, 2023.
​
What do I have to do?
1. Practice the music and scripts found on the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ audition page on the school website. You will find a backing track with words and one without words. There are also words and music for you to prepare for your audition at home with an adult.
2. Sign up for an audition using the sign-up sheets on the KS2 Notices at the end of the P5 and P6 wing.
3. If you have any questions about the auditions, please speak to Mr Moreland.

Audition Resources
During the audition, you must:

Sing ONE of the solos listed for guys and girls.

Girls choose between “Home” or “Beauty and the Beast.”

Guys choose between “Kill the Beast” and “Be Our Guest.” Pick whichever song is easiest for your voice.

Girls :
“Home (Vocal)”
“Beauty and the Beast(Vocal).”

“Home(Instrumental)”
“Beauty and the Beast(Instrumental)”

Boy:
“Kill the Beast(Vocal)"
“Be Our Guest(Vocal)”

Those auditioning for the Narrator roles do not need to prepare a solo.
